Longacre Foundation

We established the Longacre Foundation to fund need-based scholarships for summers at Longacre Camp. Donors include current parents, former parents, alumni, current staff and former staff.

The Longacre Foundation raises $5,000-$20,000 annually.

A Project of TFEC

The Longacre Foundation is managed by our local community foundation, The Perry County Community Foundation. The Perry County Community Foundation is part of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) in Harrisburg, which is officially our fiscal sponsor:

"The official registration and financial information of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll free, within Pennsylvania, 800-732-0999. Registration does not imply endorsement. Founded in 1920, the Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) is a community foundation incorporated under Pennsylvania law as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. TFEC’s mission is to preserve and increase resources so future generations have the means to address and solve societal challenges. TFEC manages 700 funds (like the Longacre Foundation) totaling $50 million in assets."
