I have been living and working at Longacre Farm as an owner since 1976.  I  take great joy in the energy and enthusiasm of community living, both in the summer and in the "off season."  It is a great privilege to be so consistently surrounded by adults and teenagers who strive to support one another in caring ways.

I grew up in Wellesley, MA and met my husband of 39 years at Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, NY, where I got a BA in English.  Prior to my full-time commitment to Longacre Leadership, I worked as a camp counselor, restaurant server, convention center laborer, real estate manager, and real estate appraiser.

Roger and I have three wonderful children, Matthew (29), Alex (26), and Courtney (18).  We live in a now-contemporary 1882 farm house located in the center of the property, once owned by the Long family, from whom we purchased it.

I serve my  local community as a Master Gardener, a member of the board of the PA Chapter of the American Chestnut Foundation, a member of Monarch Watch, and Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture
